well over 200 office visitors per month, seeking local lodging, restaurant,
shopping, realty and event recommendations. More importantly, the Chamber
responds to over 40,000 telephone requests from potential visitors and offers
recommendations and referrals to our member businesses each year. We mail over
1400 relocation and tourist information packages including member brochures and
material annually. Member benefits include listings and link preferences on the
Chamber's web site at, www.kernvillechamber.org. In cooperation with another
Kern Valley on-line information service established in 1995, in-season visitor
accesses exceed 200,000 each month.

operates on the sole support of its members and sponsors. Special recognition
